Bar Santa María

Do you like traditional food?  Then, try Bar Santa Maria at 2 Plaza Mayor Street in Algallarin (Cordoba). This restaurant is open every day from 6:30 to 23:00. It’s is famous for its incredible homemade food.

I usually eat in this restaurant, because the owners are my father and his siblings. For that reason, I have tried a lot of dishes.

But, my favourite is “San Jacobo” a spanish dish with cheese, ham and fried pork, it’s delicious!
Here, there are a lot of different dishes, the most popular are: baked potatoes stuffed with cheese, grilled iberian sirloin with green sauce and "flamenquin", people who try flamenquin think it´s fantastic.

Every day, there is a menu to eat, with a main dish, a second dish and a dessert.

Here, they have a great variety of desserts, like custard, rice pudding, three chocolates cake, cheese cake… And all of them are made by the chefs.

The best day to visit this restaurant is on Sunday, because, you can eat churros with chocolate for breakfast, I love them!

The restaurant is in a square, and there is a big bar terrace to eat outside. But, there is also a big dinning room with music.

I recommend Bar Santa Maria; because it has reasonably priced lunches, it´s perfect for the whole family and the food is wonderful.
